Gracie Jiu Jitsu Black Belt (2007)

Rob has a wealth of knowledge and experience as an instructor and in martial arts. Rob is a life long martial artist and has trained in multiple disciplines such as Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Muay Thai and now specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 

Rob focuses heavily on the self defense aspect of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu during his classes, which ensures his lessons are practical in real life situations.  Rob worked many years in the security industry and was raised by a military father hence why his focus on practicality side of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 

Rob also has a strong competition back ground running from 2001 to 2011. During that time he competed at a state, national and international level. Here are some of his Competition achievements;

-7x NZ National Champion 

-Australian National Champion 

-Multiple Pan Pacific Champion 

Robs favorite coaches are Pedro Sauer, Relson Gracie. Robs coach at current is Carlos Collar at Base Jiu Jitsu Brisbane. 

Rob  just loves to teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and delivers extremely informative classes that are easy to follow. During his classes he addresses in detail the how and why of  techniques at a level that all students can grasp.
